Flag Conquest — Delete Your Account
Last updated: September 14, 2026
Flag Conquest is made by Karami Labs. This page explains what an account is in the game, how to delete one, and exactly what deletion removes. You do not need the app or a login to read it or to make a request.
What an account is here
Signing in is optional, with Google or with an email address and a password. It is offered in the full browser and Steam versions and supported Android versions of the game. Sign in to the same account to use the same Firebase cloud save on these platforms. The demo stays guest-only and uses PIN cloud saves to transfer progress to the full game.
On Android, Google sign-in opens the native Google account chooser. The game does not ask you to enter your Google password in its embedded browser. On Steam, Google sign-in opens your system browser and returns the sign-in result to the game through a temporary connection on your own computer.
The game is fully playable without an account. If you choose to sign in, Firebase Authentication stores your email address and account ID, plus the display name and profile photo URL supplied by Google if you use Google sign-in. Your Google display name may be your real name. The game uses your account ID to identify your cloud save, which also contains the player name you chose in the game. We never store your password: sign-in is handled entirely by Firebase Authentication, a Google service.
Deleting your account from inside the game
- Open Flag Conquest and go to the void hub, the screen between runs.
- Open SETTINGS, then the ACCOUNT tab.
- Scroll to DANGER ZONE and choose DELETE ACCOUNT.
- Confirm your identity. Before anything is deleted, the game asks you to prove the account is yours: if you signed in with Google, that is one more pass through the Google chooser, and if you signed in with an email address, it is your password. Nothing has been removed at that point, so backing out here costs you nothing.
- Confirm the deletion.
The deletion happens immediately, in that order: your cloud save is removed first, then the account itself, then the progress saved on this device. It cannot be undone, and the game will restart to a fresh start once it is done.
DELETE ACCOUNT, RESET SAVE and SIGN OUT
Three controls sit near each other in Settings, and they answer three different requests. Only one of them ends your account.
| Control | Your account and cloud save | This device |
|---|---|---|
| DELETE ACCOUNT | Both deleted, permanently | Progress removed |
| RESET SAVE | Untouched | Returned to a first launch state, settings included |
| SIGN OUT | Kept: your progress is saved to your account first | Progress removed, and it comes back when you sign in again. If it cannot be saved to your account at that moment, the game refuses to sign out rather than removing anything. |
Deleting your account without the game
If you cannot open the game, email the developer at playkaramilabs@gmail.com from the address you signed in with, and ask for the account to be deleted. Please write "Delete my Flag Conquest account" in the subject so it is not missed. We will confirm by reply when it is done.
Use the same address to ask for a leaderboard name or an arena defence to be removed. Both are explained under "What is not deleted" below.
What is deleted
| Data | Deleted? | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Your cloud save (progress stored under your account) | Yes | Removed first, before the account itself. |
| Your account: email address, account ID, and any Google display name and profile photo URL | Yes | The sign-in record is deleted outright, including the Google profile fields it stores. |
| The player name stored with your cloud save | Yes | It lives in the cloud save document and goes with it. |
| The save on your own device | Yes | Removed last, after the account is gone. If it cannot be cleared, for example because your browser is blocking storage, the game tells you so and points you at RESET SAVE rather than claiming the device is clean. |
| Cloud saves you made with a PIN | No | PIN uploads are anonymous by construction and are not linked to any account, so there is nothing to match them to. A PIN code works once: redeeming it removes that upload from our servers. |
| Leaderboard entries | No, not automatically | Filed under the display name you chose, never under your account. Email us and we will remove one. |
| Arena defences | No, not automatically | Filed under a random ID stored on your device, not under your account. Email us and we will remove one. |
| Anonymous run summaries | No | Never linked to an account or to you: they carry a random per-install ID and nothing else. You can turn them off in Settings at any time. |
How long anything is kept
Cloud save documents are deleted immediately when you delete the account, and we keep no backup of them afterwards. Nothing beyond our database provider's own operational retention holds a copy.
PIN uploads are kept on a different clock, because they are not attached to any account. One is deleted the moment its PIN is redeemed. An upload nobody redeems currently stays until it is redeemed or until we remove it, and we will remove one on request: email the developer with the PIN.
